Kona:

UPDATE: Kona placed 1st in Open Novice at the Event at Woodside in August 2007!

Kona is a Argentinean TB who has been successful with a junior rider at many of the premier California eventing shows in 2006-2007 season. In March 2006 at Twin Rivers he placed 6th on his dressage score and again in April he placed first on his dressage score at BN at Ram Tap. Continuing his success he placed first at Murieta combined show at Novice in May and schooled Training Level. He has also scored well at local dressage and jumping shows. He is fun partner who knows his job and does all three phases in a snaffle. He is competitive in the dressage phase of eventing which helps him maintain his top placings from the start of the competition. Not spooky, bonds with his rider, excellent for the farrier and vet. Owner has decided to focus on Vaulting and wants Kona to have a wonderful new home!
